Elleven was founded in 2001, from former "Chandelier" drummer Tom Jarzina, Stephan Scholz and Julia Graff. Soon after we
were joined by Armin Riemer (keys, "Brainside") and Carsten Hütter (git). In 2007 we released our first album "insight" together with bassist Roger Weitz (Flying Circus).
At the moment we’re working on our second album together with a new drummer – Herry Rubarth (Chandelier)

Si vous aimez le rock progressif très seventies, tendance planant et céleste, tel que pratiqué par les Grands Ancêtres (et pas les Grands Anciens), c'est un album qui ne manque pas d’intérêt. N’en attendez pas une révolution dans le rock progressif, mais c’est très plaisant et bien balancé.

With its debut album, this young band from Vienna follows the footsteps of honorable Austrian prog masters like "Matter Of Taste". The music on this concept album is not of the kind I'd call particularly innovative - it travels pretty much on well known roads paved by many others long ago. However, these youngsters do it in a highly pleasant way, skillfully avoiding the pitfalls of pseudo-progressive phrase rehashing most of the time - certainly more successfully so than several of their experienced grand paragons of prog.
